Lambert Park
I put off doing this walk, as I had no idea where the trail went. Turns out it’s a lovely little walk close to home that ends at a school football oval, perfect for dogs. It’s an out and back walk, with a tiny little bit of downhill (and then uphill on the return!)
If you can park on Churchill Ave, that’s great, but I park on Goodhart Place or Richmond Parade for safe easy parking, then just walk 50m to the start of the track. It’s directly across the road from Bicentennial park, with a well marked sign. It’s a lovely shady walk, with a firm dirt path.
It’s dogs on lead, which is important for local wildlife - then they can be off lead at the school oval at the end of the walk.
