The Pipeline Track

This is one of our staple walks, as we can be here within 15minutes of home and it feels like you’re a million miles away from the city. It’s an out and back walk, relatively flat, with some gentle undulation.

Park near Fern Tree Tavern, cross the road, look left and there’s the trail. It’s a lovely shady walk, with a firm dirt path.

It’s dogs on lead, which is important for local wildlife. Lovely shady walk.

• Distance: As far as you’d like (12.7 - 18km one way)! Out and back

• Elevation: Relatively flat (the first hour out, hour back at least)
